Handy RANDI

Handy RANDI is a program that automates many of the day-to-day tasks of employees at UWSP ResNet. It is written in C# and uses Windows Forms to display controls and the window. Its features include:
  • Network Switch login and command simplification (by sending commands through PuTTY)
  • Monitoring of a shared Exchange e-mail Inbox for the presence of new messages
  • Student search features
  • Scheduling with appointment reminders
  • Outlook e-mail signature setup with one click
  • Inter-office hyper-link sharing system with administrative management
  • Custom settings for each user of the program which are stored in a database to keep settings the same on all machines
  • Automatic updater which keeps the program up to date with the most current version
  • MAC Address vendor lookup
  • Adding of shared printers
