About Me

My name is Ryan Victory. I am currently a student at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and am majoring in Computer Information Systems and minoring in Military Science. I am currently employed as the Student Programming Manager at the university's "ResNet." ResNet is a division of the University's Information Technology focused on serving students both in the Residence Halls and off campus with any computer problems they may have. There I am in charge of programming the Residence Hall Internet access programs (Written in Winbatch on Windows, Applescript on Mac OS X) and also the customer management system (ASP.NET with VB.NET code-behind). I am also in charge of many scripts that run in the background (written in Perl, VB.NET, and C#). I have extensive computer experience, including programming (C#, VB.NET, Perl, Java, SQL, and miscellaneous other languages), Microsoft Windows (Security, Operating System Internals, Programming, etc.), and Computer Security (Malware, Web Attacks, Wireless Networking, Social Engineering, Encryption, etc.). Some of my other hobbies and interests include Ham Radio, Photography, Magic Tricks, Locksmithing, Guitar, and Cooking.
